Zion A Komene

Ngā Puhi

He ‘was born in Tai Tokerau and raised in Auckland. He was educated at the University of Auckland. Telling stories, rather than creative writing, has always been a passion for him. He is now discovering that writing is a disciplined skill in itself, worthy of pursuing, if for nothing else other than sheer emjoyment. Zion was first published in 2000, with short stories appearing in an anthology of men’s fiction, and an anthology of indigenous fiction by writers from Australia, Aoteaora, Canada and the United States. Zion currently lives in Te Tai Tokerau and is working on his first novel.’ Zion also appears in this bibliography under Viktor Allen.
