He ‘was born in Te Tai Tokerau and brought up in Porirua.’ He ‘lives at Titahi Bay and is a primary school teacher. "I enjoy reading to kids and reading novels. I also like listening to and retelling stories on the marae and at home. I find that writing stories is a good creative release and I’d like to write more children’s stories.’
