Hariata ‘is a self-taught artist, and is a mother and grandmother. She has a Master of Fine Arts from Elam, has works of art in the collection of Te Papa, the BNZ, Dowse Art Gallery, Saatchi and Saatchi and Air New Zealand, and has returned to her homeland near Otaki, where she is making art."
